Refunds

If you purchased your ticket via Fatsoma and the event is cancelled, moved, or rescheduled, you may be entitled to a refund. We will provide specific instructions on how to obtain a refund in such cases.

 

No Refunds for Change of Mind

Unless the event is cancelled, moved, or rescheduled, refunds will not be issued if you change your mind about attending or discover you are unable to attend.

Please note that there is a 24-hour cooling-off period from the time of purchase during which you may request a refund. After this 24-hour period, all sales are final. Get in touch via email at contact@get-heavy-uk.co.uk 

 

Age Restrictions

To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, the following age restrictions apply to the Get Heavy Festival at Downcast Studios:

• 18+: Patrons must be 18 years of age or older to attend without adult supervision.
• 14-16: Attendees aged 14 to 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is 21 years of age or older.
• Under 14: Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to attend the festival.

Proof of age may be required upon entry. Downcast Studios reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone who does not comply with this policy.

 

Parking

For those arriving by car, kindly note that parking options at the venue are limited. We kindly request that you keep the front area clear for individuals with accessibility issues. We recommend utilizing either the Gateshead College Car Park, located at NE8 3BE, or the Trinity Square Car Park, located at NE8 1NY, both of which are within a 10-minute walking distance from the venue. Check signs on arrival as parking fees may apply

 

Metro/Bus Service

For those arriving via Metro/Bus service, the closest stations are Gateshead Stadium, which is approximately a 15-minute walk, or Gateshead Central, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.
