First and foremost, Get Heavy UK would like to Thank "Hammer" for the advance preview of this track.  I only wish the band gave me some kind of disclaimer for headbanging-induced neck injuries before listening - LOL

Now Edinburgh's Auld Reekie Crew "Hammer" is back with a vengeance on their new track "Accelerator." Which is due out on all streaming platforms on the 25th of July.  The track does not waste much time in throwing down the gauntlet, pitching hard-hitting, fast-paced, and bone-crushingly heavy sounds to melt faces and whip necks.

"Accelerator" is just bombardment upon bombardment with heavy riffs and pounding drums that can leave one gasping for breath yet pleading for more. It's pure, raw aggression at its finest—the kind one expects from groups that put a premium on power and speed over all else. The song is a headbanger's dream, with each note and beat expertly laid out to bring across the sensation of energy and urgency impossible to ignore.

While "Accelerator" is so much more than just one great song, in a way, it could be said that this is Hammer's statement of intent—they are here to shake things up right in the modern UK metal scene. On that note, there is no reason not to make big tides in the music world when this occupies the interface between traditional heavy metal and modern sensibilities.

So if you're looking for something to raise your blood pressure and let the metalhead flag fly, then take "Accelerator". Pounding beats and scorching guitar work make it a track tailor-made for a sweating, high-octane workout or just a party night with friends. The driving rhythm is infectious, guaranteed to get you moving and energized; the shredding solos will leave you breathless and begging for more.
